Sunderbani is a place of great religious importance. Before 1947 there was no place under the name of
Sunderbani. At that time Sunderbani area was known as Bhajwal Jagir. In 1980 Sunderbani emerged as new tehsil. Tehsil Sunderbani comprises of 42 villages and it is the smallest Tehsil of Distt. Rajouri in area.
By the visionary and selfless efforts of local leadership, senior citizens council Sunderbani and other non-
political organizations, a Govt. Degree College was sanctioned for Sunderbani and was established in June 2011.
I firmly beleive that our college is more than just a place to learn, It gives a chance to grow by equipping with everything one need to achieve excellence. At present this college only has humanities stream and i hope we would be able to start science, Commerce streams in near future which would help the students to make choice of subjects of study.
I wish all the students a great success in their career and prosperity in their future life.
